Picture this:
One could easily send copies or transfer digital images from one’s Bluetooth equipped Digital Camera to one’s Bluetooth enabled personal computer system, regardless if this were a desktop or a laptop. One could simply print documents and other file formats through Bluetooth technology, and through the use of Bluetooth printers, without the hassle of wire connections. Universal and wireless, Bluetooth technology is simply impressive, defining its status as the way to go with going wireless.
But, there lies a concern with this whole rave over Bluetooth. Bluetooth technology is relatively new, with newer hardware being integrated with this wondrous technology. What about those devices which had come out pre-Bluetooth? Particularly printers?
Well, one option would be that consumers would have to deal with purchasing newer printer models for this need, and keep in mind those printers with Bluetooth equipped features. Another, albeit smarter option, would be to simply purchase a Bluetooth Printer Adaptor, giving non-Bluetooth equipped printers Bluetooth Printer functionality.
A Bluetooth Printer Adaptor is basically an item which one connects to one’s printer, thus giving that selfsame printer Bluetooth Printer features. Think of these items as add-on items which “turn” old school printers into tough Bluetooth printer contenders. Bluetooth Printer Adaptors basically sets a new level of standard for wireless printing, without having consumers spend on buying new printer models with Bluetooth support features.
Replacing the parallel cables, or USB cables, of wired printers, simply plug in Bluetooth Printer Adapters to where one would have plugged in its cables, and you’ve got yourself a Bluetooth equipped printer already to go.
One’s Bluetooth Equipped Personal Digital Assistant, or Bluetooth enabled mobile phone, or Bluetooth enabled computer system could easily print documents through this “upgraded and updated” Bluetooth printer system, as though it were built with Bluetooth technology integrated into it.
Bluetooth Printer Adapters basically come in two types, one supporting the 36 pin parallel port connector, with some supporting the USB printer port system. Certain brand models support both, but most Bluetooth Printer Adapters generally support only one type of connection.
Either way, Bluetooth Printer Adapters stand as the smarter choice when implementing Bluetooth technology into one’s printing lifestyle.
